In a world obsessed with speed, Cindy chose stillness. While everyone chased hustle, she chose healing.
And that quiet decision changed hundreds of lives.
Creating Space to Heal: How Cindy Built Om Space Bodylab

Cindy has never believed in quick fixes.
No loud promises. No “30-day transformations.” Just real bodies, real breath, and real change.
For over a decade, she’s been reshaping how people move, feel, and live one intentional session at a time. Her studio, Om Space Bodylab, isn’t about burning calories. It’s about rebuilding trust and connect with your body.
This isn’t fitness. It’s a sanctuary.
Before the Studio, There Was Uncertainty
Long before Om Space Bodylab had a name, Cindy was freelancing the teaching movement wherever she could, juggling inconsistent income and the invisible pressure many wellness professionals know too well.
She had also seen the other side of the industry. Fast growth. Big hype. Then collapse.
Watching a major yoga chain rise and fall taught her one thing early:
Growth without grounding doesn’t last.
So instead of chasing scale, Cindy chose intention.
Together with her partner, Cassandra, she opened Space Life Studio in 2013. Small. Honest. Purpose led. A place built on care, not chaos.
When the Brand Evolved, So Did the Mission

After nearly ten years of teaching, listening, and learning, something became clear. The work had grown deeper than yoga alone.
In September 2023, the studio was reborn as Om Space Bodylab, a name that reflected its true purpose: creating space in the body so people can live with less pain, more energy, and real awareness.
The evolution introduced specialised systems like Pilates equipment training and Gyrotonic®️. The Gyrotonic®️ Expansion System is a 3D movement method that sets itself apart from traditional, linear 2D exercise systems by working the body in circular, spiraling, and undulating patterns.
“Most pain doesn’t come from injury,” Cindy explains.
“It comes from years of unconscious habits of how we sit, stand, breathe, even sleep.” Her work gently unravels those patterns. No force. No pressure.
Movement That Heals More Than Muscles
What makes Om Space Bodylab different is simple:
Cindy sees movement as a conversation, not a workout. A dialogue between body and mind.
Students don’t just get stronger, they sleep better. Digest better. Think clearer. Feel lighter. Chronic pain eases. Stress softens. Emotions released.
And sometimes, the healing starts with something even simpler than movement.
Breath.
“When people are overwhelmed, movement can feel like too much,” Cindy says. “But breath is always there. And it can change everything.”
The Stories That Make It All Worth It

Over the years, the transformations have been quiet and powerful.
A long-time student who finally slept through the night after years of struggle.
A couple in their mid-60s who’ve trained consistently for over three years and now move with ease, confidence, and joy.
Some students have stayed for more than a decade. They travel across town. Rearrange schedules. Show up.
Not because of marketing. Because they feel the difference.
Surviving COVID and Coming Back Stronger Like every movement-based business, the pandemic hit hard. Studios closed. Touch disappeared. Connection went digital.
Instead of shutting down, Cindy adapted. Online classes kept bodies moving. Discounts kept the community together. Recovery was slow but steady.
“Surviving MCO taught us resilience,” she reflects.
“If we make it through that, we can face whatever comes next.”
What’s Next: Growth Without Losing the Soul
Today, Om Space Bodylab is powered by a team of 12 dedicated instructors, offering Yoga, Pilates Mat, Pilates Equipment, Gyrotonic®️, Aerial, in the form of group classes, private sessions, and personalized equipment training.
Cindy’s vision isn’t massive expansion. It’s accessible growth.
Two or three locations. Less commuting. More people are able to care for their bodies after long workdays.
Her goal stays beautifully simple:
to help people feel younger, freer, and at home in their bodies at any age.
More Than a studio. A Safe Space.
Om Space Bodylab proves something powerful:
You don’t have to move fast to move forward. You don’t have to be loud to make an impact.
Sometimes, real success comes from listening to your body, your people, and your purpose. Cindy didn’t just build a brand.
She built a place where healing feels human again.
And in today’s nonstop world, that might be the most radical thing of all.
