Kuala Lumpur Just Got a Major Upgrade in On Demand Laundry

Laundryheap Brings Its High Speed Laundry Service to Kuala Lumpur

In a move that underscores the growing demand for convenience first living, Laundryheap the world’s largest on demand laundry platform has officially entered the Malaysian market, launching its services in Kuala Lumpur.

The expansion is part of a broader global push that also includes new entries into Colombia, Mexico, and Scotland, bringing the company’s footprint to 28 cities across 16 countries. From the US and UK to Singapore, France, and the UAE, Laundryheap is rapidly scaling its presence in key urban hubs where time is increasingly treated as a luxury.

At its core, Laundryheap’s appeal lies in its simplicity. Through its app or website, users can schedule laundry collection, washing, or dry cleaning with just a few taps then receive freshly cleaned items within 24 hours. In select markets like London, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, its Express Overnight service pushes the boundary even further, delivering turnaround times as fast as eight hours.

The company’s rise has been anything but slow. With over 400,000 customers globally and more than 110 million items processed to date, Laundryheap has solidified itself as a major player in the on demand services economy. Strategic acquisitions including France’s Lavoir Moderne, Singapore’s Oppa Laundry, and UK based Laundrapp have accelerated its growth trajectory, particularly in the post-pandemic era where convenience services have surged.

But Laundryheap isn’t just catering to individual users. Its business-facing services support a wide range of clients from restaurants and bars to hotels and Airbnb hosts. Notably, global brands like Emirates Skywards, CitizenM, and Klarna are already part of its client portfolio.

Founder and CEO Deyan Dimitrov describes the latest expansion as a defining moment for the company’s global ambitions.

“Our launches into Malaysia and other new markets represent a major milestone in our journey to becoming the world’s most trusted on demand laundry brand,” he said. “It reflects both the strength of our technology and the increasing demand for fast, reliable services.”

Backed by £17 million in funding from investors such as Alex Chesterman, Nickleby Capital, and Verb Ventures, Laundryheap has grown by an impressive 700% since 2020. With further expansion planned across the US and GCC, the company is doubling down on a future where laundry is no longer a chore but a seamless, on-demand experience.
