Bursa Malaysia Shares the Spirit of Ramadan with RM40,000 Donation for Asnaf Children
In the true spirit of Ramadan, Bursa Malaysia hosted its Majlis Iftar Perdana 2026 on March 3, bringing warmth and joy to more than 60 children from Asrama HALUAN Penyayang (AHP) as well as tahfiz students from Maahad Tahfiz Al-Aqsa (MTA).
The special gathering provided an opportunity for the children to break fast together with Bursa Malaysia staff in a meaningful evening that celebrated compassion, unity, and community support during the holy month.
As part of the initiative, Bursa Malaysia contributed RM40,000 to support the welfare of the asnaf community. The donation will help fund essential needs, educational expenses, and programs aimed at supporting the children’s overall development.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Bursa Malaysia employees also presented the children with duit raya and baju raya, ensuring they could celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya with joy and dignity.
The Majlis Iftar Perdana reflects Bursa Malaysia’s continued commitment to corporate social responsibility, particularly during Ramadan a time that encourages generosity, empathy, and community care.
