What if struggling to find electronic parts for your uni project became the spark for a tech movement?
For Ts. Nur ‘Aqilah Zainuddin better known as Aqilah that frustration didn’t stop her. It launched Aiszzy Electronics Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia’s most exciting names in electronics, robotics, IoT, and fashion technology today.
Founded in 2016, Aiszzy Electronics isn’t just selling components, its powering ideas, careers, and the next generation of Malaysian technopreneurs.
A Real Problem. A Smart Solution. A Big Vision.

Back then, Aqilah was a master’s student in Electronics Engineering at UiTM Shah Alam. Every project meant long, expensive trips to Kuala Lumpur just to buy basic components.
Shah Alam had students. Shah Alam had demand. But Shah Alam had no solution.
So, Aqilah built one just five minutes from her home in Shah Alam.
On the 5th of April 2016, Aiszzy Electronics was born. By October, its first store opened. What started as small electronics shop quickly became a go-to hub for students, hobbyists, engineers, and innovators across Malaysia.
More Than a Shop A Tech Ecosystem
Fast forward to today, Aiszzy Electronics is operating on a whole new level:
- Electronics Retail – Sensors, Arduino, microcontrollers, tools, and essentials
- Project Development – Smart systems, AI builds, IoT solutions, custom tech
- Robotics & IoT Training – Practical skills for real-world innovation
- Aiszzy Academy – Workshops, courses, and hands-on learning
- Fashion Technology – Interactive outfits, light-reactive designs, smoke effects, and wearable tech for Malaysian artists
Yes, electronics meets fashion. And it’s going viral.
With a growing team of 10 engineers, IT specialists, and creatives, Aiszzy is redefining what a Malaysian tech company can look like.
When Tech Inspires People, Not Just Products

Aqilah’s impact goes beyond circuits and code.
At a tech event in Perak, a stranger walked up to her and said:
“I watched your videos. I started my business the same day. Today, it’s making millions.”
Her Fashion Technology initiatives sparked a nationwide movement inspiring creators to launch their own innovations and even independent competitions like Fashion Technology 2025.
One standout project?
An interactive digital installation at the Music Museum Kuala Lumpur, where visitors touch digital instruments and hear real sounds come alive blending art, education, and technology in one immersive experience.
What’s Next? Southeast Asia. 🌏

Aqilah isn’t thinking small.
Over the next 3–5 years, her mission is bold:
👉 Make Aiszzy Electronics one of Southeast Asia’s leading tech companies. The roadmap includes:
- AI & advanced IoT solutions
- Additive manufacturing & 3D printing
- Expanded education platforms like ISE College
- More space for creators, innovators, and startups
The goal stays the same: empower people to build without fear.
Her Advice for Beginners with Zero Experience
“Just start small.”
Burn a few LEDs. Make mistakes. Learn online. Enjoy the process. That’s how confidence is built and how big ideas begin.
