UUE Holdings Berhad is charging ahead with another major milestone. The Malaysian engineering powerhouse announced that its wholly owned Singapore subsidiary, Konnection Engineering Pte Ltd, has secured a subcontract worth approximately S$20.9 million (RM67.3 million) for high-voltage power cable installation works in Singapore.
The contract, awarded by Wee Guan Construction Pte Ltd, covers the supply and installation of 230 kV power cables, auxiliary cables, and related accessories for the NDC409 Route A1 & A2 Project. The principal client for this large-scale infrastructure project is SP PowerAssets Limited, with LS Cable & System Singapore Branch serving as the main contractor.
Work officially began on 31 October 2025 and is scheduled for completion by 31 December 2027.
Under the agreement, Konnection Engineering will deliver a full suite of engineering solutions from providing high-quality materials and skilled labour to deploying state-of-the-art equipment for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe installations.
This achievement strengthens UUE Holdings’ position as a regional force in sustainable energy infrastructure and reflects Malaysia’s growing influence in Singapore’s power development landscape.
“Every metre of cable laid represents not just power but progress,” said a company spokesperson. “We’re proud to energize Singapore’s infrastructure with Malaysian innovation and expertise.”
With this win, UUE Holdings continues its momentum in engineering excellence, connecting nations through power, precision, and purpose.
