Evanescence Returns to Malaysia as Only Southeast Asia Stop for 2026 World Tour
After 14 long years, Evanescence is finally making a comeback to Malaysia and fans have every reason to celebrate.
The Grammy-winning rock band has officially announced that Kuala Lumpur will be the only Southeast Asian stop on their highly anticipated 2026 world tour. The concert is scheduled for 28 November 2026 at the National Hockey Stadium, with the show starting at 8 PM MYT.
For Malaysian fans, this is more than just another concert announcement. It marks the band’s first return since their last performance in the country on 23 February 2012, ending a wait that lasted more than a decade.
Excitement had already been building online after fans spotted a mysterious billboard in Bukit Bintang featuring a bold letter “E,” closely resembling the band’s famous logo. Social media quickly exploded with speculation and those rumours turned out to be true.
Frontwoman Amy Lee later confirmed the news through a video posted on the band’s official Instagram page, telling fans that the group would perform in Kuala Lumpur for one night only.

The Malaysia concert will be part of a major international tour covering North America, the UK, and Europe, with Kuala Lumpur standing out as the final regional destination in Southeast Asia.
So far, no opening act has been announced for the KL concert. While several Western tour dates feature special guests, Malaysian fans are still waiting for updates on who might join the show.
Tickets will officially go on sale on 8 May 2026 at 10 AM MYT through Go Live Asia via its website and mobile app. The online waiting room opens at 9.30 AM MYT, giving eager fans a chance to secure their spot early.
Ticket prices and seating categories have not yet been revealed, but each transaction will be limited to six tickets per purchase.
For rock fans across the region, this is more than a concert. It is a rare chance to witness one of the most iconic bands of the 2000s live and Malaysia is the only place in Southeast Asia where it will happen.
