Dyson’s New Hard Floor Cleaner Washes, Dries And Cleans Itself

Meet The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene: Dyson’s Lightest Filter Free Floor Cleaner Yet

Cleaning the house may never be fun but Dyson is clearly trying to make it faster, smarter, and far less frustrating.

The tech giant has officially introduced the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene in Malaysia, bringing one of its most advanced hard floor cleaning machines to local homes. Priced at RM2,499, the new device combines wet and dry cleaning power with a lightweight body and low-maintenance technology.

Designed as part of Dyson’s 2026 product lineup, the Clean+Wash Hygiene weighs just 3.82kg, making it the brand’s lightest floor cleaner so far. Its slimmer profile makes it easier to carry, move, and glide around tight spaces.

Built For Real Life Messes

From spilled drinks to dusty corners, the machine is built to handle both solid and liquid messes in one go. It features a 750mL water tank and a wide microfiber roller that lifts dirt while leaving floors visibly cleaner.

The roller is powered by 1,400 nylon bristles, helping capture hair and stubborn debris with ease. Dyson also says its capillary cleaning system removes dirty liquid efficiently, reducing streaks and leaving a polished finish behind.

Need to clean under sofas or beds? The handle lowers to 113mm, allowing users to reach low spaces without losing cleaning performance.

Long Battery Life, Fast Results

The Clean+Wash Hygiene runs for up to 70 minutes on a full charge, with a recharge time of around 4.5 hours. That gives users enough runtime for larger homes or full-room cleaning sessions without constant recharging.

The Smartest Upgrade? It Cleans Itself

One of the biggest highlights is Dyson’s new self-cleaning and drying system.

After use, the machine automatically rinses the roller and internal system with clean water, helping remove leftover dirt and debris. It then dries the roller using 85°C hot air, helping reduce odours and bacterial build-up.

That means less manual maintenance and a cleaner machine ready for the next use.

Why Dyson Moved Away From Filters

During the Malaysia launch, Dyson engineer Kai Yin Tee explained that many traditional wet floor cleaners rely on suction systems with internal pipes that often clog over time.

These systems also depend on filters, which can trap bacteria and create unpleasant smells if not cleaned regularly.

Dyson’s filter-free design aims to solve those issues by reducing clogs, lowering maintenance, and improving long-term hygiene performance.

Final Thoughts

The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene feels like a cleaner made for modern lifestyles—quick, lightweight, efficient, and less hassle to maintain.

For homes that deal with daily spills, pet hair, or busy family messes, this could be one of Dyson’s smartest cleaning launches yet.
